In this project your child will be learning about how they have grown and changed since they were babies and how life in the past was different from today. Some of the things your child will be doing include....
- Looking at the ways they have changed since they were a baby.
- Sequencing events in their own life/daily routines.
- Exploring yearly changes by looking at the seasons.
- Learning vocabulary associated with the passing of time....yesterday, tomorrow, now, later on etc.
- Using the abacus to begin exploring early addition and subtraction.
- Learning to tell the time to o'clock.
- Exploring black and white images and photographs to learn about life in the past.
- Making comparisons with life now and then when exploring household objects, toys, clothes and school life.
