Litter, Litter, Everywhere

LITTER

Teaching pupils about litter not only helps them understand the connection between human actions and environmental health, but also encourages a lifelong appreciation for nature and the role they play in its preservation. Through learning about littering, pollution, wildlife protection, and the importance of keeping public spaces clean, children develop a deeper sense of responsibility for their environment. Actively exploring the local environment further supports learners in building a sense of identity and belonging, helping them to understand how their immediate community functions. By engaging both physically and emotionally with the world around them, pupils become better equipped to value, protect, and contribute positively to their surroundings.
